Course Information
Courses are designed to help you develop practical and technical skills on a variety of domestic lockstitch sewing machines.
This will enable you to fully understand the workings of a domestic lockstitch sewing machines as well as how to get to the heart of the problem by trouble shooting.
You’ll learn how to Repair, Maintain & Service a wide range of makes and model including Brother, Janome, Bernina, Singer and more
On successful completion of the five day course you’ll receive:
- Advanced Mechanical Engineers Certificate
- U-Fix It Book Downloaded via your email
- 3 month post course email support membership.
All the training will be delivered by experienced training instructors who between them have a wealth of knowledge within the industry. This course is designed for those who want to become sewing machine mechanics or engineers. There are tests throughout the course both written and hands on, to ensure you attain a standard conducive to our own certification.
Meals and accommodation Included in the price
You will need to arrange your own transport to the Hotel.
At the training centre in the hotel you will be offered liquid refreshments during the day in including a Light lunch.
Breakfast and evening meals will be provided in the dining room.

Deposit
To secure your booking a deposit is required and a final payment must be made at least six weeks prior to course start date.
There are a number of ways to pay for your course with an initial deposit and the balance due at least 6 weeks prior to the start of the course using Credit/Debit card payments via phone or Direct bank transfer.
On booking we require your contact details to raise an invoice to send to your email address.
Courses start at 10am and conclude at 4.00pm daily

Also you will receive a small selection of essential parts to get you started.
You will be given a number of useful guides such as how to get insurance cover for your new business and simple ideas such as repair and servicing sheets to copy for your own use.
