The domestic lockstitch MEC 1 -2 three day course is a good starting point for anyone wishing to understand in more detail the workings of a domestic lock stitch sewing machine. On this course you will be shown how to do many basic repairs by first understanding how to troubleshoot very simple problems.
Hook/Shuttle timings, needle bar settings, feed dog settings. presser foot alignment, primary tension settings the easy way to name just a few that you need to be able to repair and service a domestic sewing machine
You will go away with a wealth of knowledge in hints and tips that will help keep these machines in working order by completing routine checks on a daily and weekly basis, dependant on how often the machines are used.
