WALKING FOOT

What is a walking foot industrial sewing machine? In layman’s terms it quite literally means the foot is walking over the material when the machine is stitching.

The Walking foot training will include level one and two maintenance procedures.

Hook timing and needle bar settings, needle bar rock frame walking foot timing, feed settings, Troubleshooting and much more

This training will be provided by qualified sewing machine mechanics/Instructors

To gain certificate level one and two, tests will be carried out throughout the five day course. On completion of these tests you will be given a certificate of competence.

Twin Needle

The twin needle sewing machine is in effect exactly what it says the machine has; Two needles enabling one to stitch two parallel lines of stitching at the same time.

This kind of stitching is often used on a range of products the most common one that all of us will see in our everyday life is on Denim Jeans. Yes, this stich is used mostly used as a decorative finishing touch to a garment or other stitched items.

  1. Peter

We had 2 delegates on this course and will be sending more to learn the skills required to maintain our walking feet industrial machines .
Our delegates had no prior sewing machine repair experience before attending this 5 day course. The training instructors are highly experienced in their field and, Artizan’s post training support is excellent. I highly recommend this training company. Peter
